Who Can Join?
Box Hill Rangers AFC welcomes players of all ages and abilities. Whether you’re just starting out or an experienced player, there’s a team for you at our Club.
We cater to:
- MiniRoos players (U6-U11): Both mixed and female teams, focused on fun, skill development, and building a love for football.
- Junior players (U12–U18): Mixed and female teams, with opportunities to develop skills, build teamwork, and play competitively.
- Senior players: Men’s and women’s teams across all age groups, including:
- Super League (Men)
- All Age Men
- All Age Women
- Over 30 Women
- Over 45 Women
- Over 35 Men
- Over 45 Men
- Over 55 Men
We also run Summer Sessions, our 10-week off-season training program, and Come & Try sessions before the season begins – perfect opportunities for new and returning players to improve their skills, meet other players, and get a taste of the game.
Everyone is welcome at Box Hill Rangers AFC – whether your goal is to play socially, develop your skills, or compete at the highest level.
Registration Steps
Registering with Box Hill Rangers AFC is quick and simple. Here’s how:
- Choose your age group – Make sure you know the correct category based on your child’s age (or your own age for senior players). See here for more information.
- Complete your online registration – Click the Register Now button to access Play Football, Football Australia’s official registration platform.
- Pay your registration fee – Payment is made directly via Play Football at the time of registration.
Fees and Deadlines
- Registration Opens: 1st January 2026
- Early Bird Discount: Available until 29th January 2026. Full fees apply for any registrations completed after this date.
- Registration Closes: Varies by age group – once teams are full, registrations will close without notice.
Registering early not only secures your spot and ensures you get the early bird discount, but also means you won’t miss out if your preferred team fills up. It also helps the Club to plan and prepare for the season.
Registration Checklist
Before starting your registration, make sure you have the following ready:
- Player’s full name, date of birth, and contact details
- Medical and emergency contact information
- Payment method (credit/debit card)
- A current head-and-shoulders photograph of the player (passport style – you may take this on your phone)
All Players and Parents Must:
- Acknowledge that by registering to play with Box Hill Rangers AFC you agree to our Registration Terms and Conditions, Code of Conduct and all other Club Policies.
- Agree to contribute a minimum of 4 volunteer hours per season, per family. For further information about volunteering at Rangers, please see here.
Refunds & Policies
All registrations are subject to Football Australia, Football NSW, Hills Football and Box Hill Rangers AFC refund policies.
The Box Hill Rangers AFC policy is that you may cancel your registration within 7 days, or prior to Team Formation/Grading (whichever occurs first) for a refund, less a $50 administration fee. After this period, no refunds will be issued. Once the season has started, you cannot cancel your registration.
